The THALLASA-C2 is a video and light control system that runs on the proprietary DVR3 software from NOVASUB. It is able to support both SD and HD analog camera’s. It is an innovative piece of hardware integrated into a rugged case with high grade connectors that supports up to 2 channels. Each channel supports SD, TVI and AHD camera’s and can be switched independently, each BNC video output will then also output either SD, TVI or AHD. The HD recorded video resolution is 1080p at 25 fps. It is equipped with a 15.6” daylight touchscreen to make video control as easy as possible. This also makes this system the centrepiece in any surface supplied equipment system and an indispensable piece of hardware. It has inputs for Video & light, as well as comms from a communication system and depth data from a dive panel.
THALLASA-C2 is configured with :
NOVASUB HD: An innovative hardware solution for transmitting Full HD video with 4x more pixels via existing cables and umbilicals, using analog signals from AHD and TVI cameras, supporting cable lengths up to 300m for quality twisted pairs and 250m for coax cables.
NOVASUB DVR3: The 3rd generation video recording software developed by Seascape Subsea. The software is completely redesigned from the ground up to accommodate better ease of use, new features and a better image quality.
