Fleeters or Chinese fingers are indispensable with an umbilical or cable for underwater applications. The fleeters are ideal as a strain relief for connecting a cable and hose to a fixation or pull point. They prevent unnecessary stress on the cable or umbilical, so they last even longer. Novasub has a range of aramid fiber and stainless steel fleeters with different configurations. If our standard fleeter does not meet your requirements, we can make fleeters according to your needs. They can be from aramid, stainless, or galvanized steel and up to a diameter of ΓΈ 400 mm.
