The MC micro series is the most used connector for underwater applications from Birns. The mold of the connectors is made from vulcanized neoprene that makes for a durable water tight seal. The MC micro series is used for all Novasub underwater peripherals, such as cameras, lights and depth sensors.
The sleeves are used to secure the connectors to each other. They are made from acetal. Each connector has a specific sleeve that can be used, please see the “Sleeve clarification table” in the datasheet for a guide to selecting the sleeve that can be used with your connector.
